[The journal suddenly starts recording to catch a young woman's voice in mid-sentence. Sadly, the camera is directed towards the ground.] -at this button does... Is it broken?

This is hopeless. I'll never figure this device out. [A deep sigh.] If only Pascal were here...

[The image shakes, then tilts harshly until the camera is directed towards a stone ceiling instead. A hand swiftly moves past the screen.] ... Ah? What's it doing now?

[And finally, the journal is tilted one last time to show a girl with long pink hair, wearing a New Feather dress and staring into the camera with a confused expression.]

Yes, we can. But it hasn't been that long, has it, Sophie?

I don't know. It feels like it has. [ She has no idea how long she's been here because she is not the type of person to actually keep track. ]

Well, don't worry. I'll come to find you soon. Are you with Asbel right now?

[ She shakes her head, though Cheria can't exactly see that. ]

No, but I don't think he's far.

That's good. [She wouldn't want Sophie to stray from Asbel too far in a place like this.] Then, are you at the house?

[ A nod now. ]

Yes.

I will see you there, all right?

[First she needs to head to the village and gather her belongings, and whatnot.]

[ And now she sounds happier. ]

You're coming to live with us, too?

I believe so, yes. [She never imagined she'd be living in the same house as all her friends, but it's a very comforting image.]
